INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE WITH THE CONDITION
RECIPE IDEAS FOR PATIENTS WITH EOSINOPHILIC OESOPHAGITIS
Certain allergenic substances in food are suspected of causing inflammation of the oesophagus in EoE patients. These substances mainly include dairy products (≥ 50 %), wheat (≥ 50 %), soy/legumes, eggs, nuts and fish/seafood.
Below you will find a small selection of delicious recipes that do not contain these allergens and are therefore also suitable for EoE patients. All the recipes have been created by PhDr. Sven-David Müller, M.Sc., a certified dietetic assistant and diabetes consultant of the German Diabetes Society.
